The PC industry in 2009, with a 6 percent decline, is undergoing its most severe downturn since the beginning of the millennium, following the post Y2K crash, says analyst Strategy Analytics.
Displaybank, a market research company has forecast that the 2009 netbook market will account for 17.2 percent of the total notebook PC market with 26.32 million units.
