Quick station

Quick has released a new rework station: the Quick 856AD, distributed by ONBoard solutions.

The system has rated heating power output of 1.3KW, temperature range of 100-500°C, full digital control of air flow, air temperature and heating time.

Parameters of temperature, heating time and flow can be saved in three channel memories for call on demand for different rework jobs. Passwords can be set to lock settings to protect against inadvertent changes. The handle has an integrated sensor to trigger the system into operation and to shut down when replaced into its holder.

Also included are foot pedals, which can trigger the heating cycle instead of the handle sensor. The system is capable of working on the smallest chip components through to high thermal mass parts like power devices and RF shields. A wide range of nozzles are available and HAKKO nozzles can be adapted. This tool is designed for leaded and lead-free soldering / desoldering.
