Melbourne based group EPIC has launched the screen media, an out-of-home digital advertising.
Combining the resources of IT experts, website and flash designers and marketing professionals, the Screen Media can provide a turnkey solution to companies looking to enhance their in-store and passing customer experience with LCD flat-screen digital advertising and messaging.
Designed to be sent via the web directly to any number of locations and any number of screens, early adopters of the technology in Australia have been the real estate industry with in-window screens, larger shopping centres and major airports where digital displays are common.
EPIC marketing director, Drew Valentine said the price of the hardware and the screens has dropped considerably over the past two years making digital advertising a very cost effective proposition for many businesses.
Designed to replace and upgrade traditional signage such as billboards, posters, printed material or static bulletin boards, digital advertising is the convergence of traditional signage, point of purchase displays and merchandising.
