Wavecom fastrack supreme development kit

M2M Connectivity has announced the launch of the Wavecom Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit, a ready-to-go hardware and software development platform allowing developers to quickly create wireless applications.

The Fastrack Supreme GPRS modem in the kit features a ARM9 32 bit CPU. It also comes with Wavecom Open AT Software Suite, which gives developers access to ready-to-use code samples to create applications as well as a platform to write embedded applications for the modem.

Users can add additional connectivity features using the internal expansion socket (IES) interface. M2M supplies three Wavecom IES boards (GPS, IO’s, USB) and the kit also includes an IES development board so developers can design their own.

M2M Connectivity general manager, Darren Moroney says the kit "allows developers to design their own daughter boards with added functionality, without the need to go into complex and expensive board design processes."
