Powerbox PB 256 Series

 

The PB 256 has been designed with Australasian situations in mind. Battery back-up applications in industrial, telecoms, security and access control markets. These units are built to provide, connected to a lead-acid battery, to provide uninterrupted power to a DC load in the event of a minas failure.

The PB 256-CML employs a high efficiency switching technology. Combining this with very low ouput noise making it suitable for powering a wide range of loads such as communication systems, control equipment and alarm systems. The units contain a two step current limited float charger, battery charge current limiting along with a battery low voltage disconnect and mains/charger and battery alarms.

A supplementary heatsink is required for 140W models to operate at maximum power. A natural convection cooling is employed by all models.

The PB 256 have been design by Powerbox Australia to their exacting standards and are built at our facilities.
