P-Channel MOSFET in offers lowest profile

Fairchild Semiconductor (distributed in Australia by Arrow) addresses the low profile, electrical and thermal efficiency requirements of portable applications with its single P-Channel MOSFET in 1 by 1.5 by 0.4 mm WL-CSP packaging. The FDZ391P has been designed using the company’s 1.5 V rated PowerTrench process coupled with WL-CSP packaging to minimise RDS (ON) (74 mOhm typical @ -4.5 V VGS) and required PCB space. The company says the device offers a 40 percent lower profile than standard P-Channel MOSFETs. Power dissipation is 1.9 W.

The FDZ391P has lead-free (Pb-free) terminals and has been characterised for moisture sensitivity in accordance with the Pb-free reflow requirements of the joint IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020.
