Backplane Systems Technology has announced iBase Technology’s MI935 Mini-ITX motherboard built with the Intel Q35 Express chipset to support the latest multi-core and next generation 45nm processors, enabling greater energy efficiency and quieter operation.

Featuring a system bus of up to FSB1333 and dual channel DDR2 memory support, the MI935 delivers the high performance that is required in multi-tasking environments, for applications such as POS terminals, interactive PCs, industrial control and automation, gaming and network security. Improved features supported by the integrated Intel chipset also include Flex Memory Technology, GMA 3100 graphics, high definition audio and Matrix Storage Technology.

Aside from two SATA II interfaces on board, an external SATA (eSATA) connector is available for faster data throughput speed. It comes with one PCI-E(x16) slot to enable a secondary graphics for dual independent display. Additional two / four COM ports and TPM function are available with the ID394 and ID395 daughter boards respectively.
